ASEND is a corporative body made up of engineering and medical students in most professional schools in Cameroon. Most of its staff members are students who themselves, taught by other staff members to write their desired entrance exams. This therefore means, each year ASEND recruits its own "former students" to be its staff members. This is a good work of encouragement to its students and let them know, we are all family. ASEND, on this note, has more than 20 serious staff members; well trained with high level of moral. Below you can find captions of the administrative body and some staff members of ASEND.
ASEND ASSOCIATION OF ENGINEERING AND MEDICAL STUDENTS ASEND, an association headed by David Baar C, the General Supervisor(GS), comprising of engineering and medical students prepares science students to be able to write competitive entrance exams into engineering and medical schools in Cameroon. Its main goal is to increase the number of Anglophone students into the professional schools in Cameroon. It also provides orientation to students. ASEND comprises of two(2) main departments: DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE: This department, headed by Ngongang N. Cabrel (Coordinator), consist of medical students that assist USS students to be able to write the different medical examinations in the country. In Cameroon, one general exam is taken for students who wish to enter into the field of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry.
